General Questions

Q. What is your photography style?

A. Fun, relaxed, and creative. A balance of candid and composed. I am inspired by each couple and their style and story. For the latest examples of my work, please check out my Instagram page.

Q. How do you handle COVID-19 safety restrictions?

A. I am fully vaccinated and comply with COVID-19 regulations.

Q. How far in advance do we need to book?

A. Depending on availability, booking can be made up to one week in advance. For weddings, a few months to a year in advance is most common.

Q. Do you travel outside the province for shoots?

A. Yes! I travel as needed. Travel costs and accommodation are required depending on the destination.

Q. Tell me about your wedding consultation process; how do I book your services? What will my investment look like?

A. We meet in person or virtually, and to book a 30% deposit and a signed contract are required. Packages start at $2,000 and some include an engagement photo session.

Q. What are your rates? Are they flexible/negotiable?

A. I have wedding packages that range from $2,000 to $4,000. Please reach out, and we can work together to find the best service package to match your budget. No discounts are available for weekday or off-season weddings.

Q. What type of payments do you accept?

A. I accept e-transfer, cash, or cheque.

Q. are gift cards available for purchase?

A. Yes, I offer gift cards in different amounts, please fill out this contact form to enquire.

Q. How many hours are included in a "Full Day Coverage" for a Wedding?

A. 8 to 10 hours are included.

Q. Are we able to change our wedding day coverage details as our wedding day approaches and better grasp our timeline?

A. Yes, I will work with you to accommodate changes as needed and closely collaborate with each couple.

Q. What equipment do you bring to a wedding? Do you bring a second shooter and backup cameras?

A. Two cameras, a variety of lenses, and lighting equipment are always on-site. A second shooter is provided based on the package your purchase and the event's needs, or upon request with an added fee. Backup cameras are always included.

Q. Can we give you a list of specific shots we want? Will you look at my Pinterest board and replicate that? Will you pose us?

A. Most certainly, I usually ask for one and have a checklist that you can fill out if you do not have the time to create your own. I will look at your inspiration to guide the shoot and use it as a starting point to authentically showcase you. I will pose and prompt to capture authentic moments naturally.

Q. What is a “first look”? What is an “unplugged ceremony”?

A. A ‘first look’ is when the bride and groom see each other for the first time before the ceremony. An “unplugged” ceremony is when guests are asked not to use their phones or devices during the ceremony to encourage everyone to be in the moment together.

Q. Do you photograph people and couples of the lgbtqia+ community?

A. Of course!

Q. Can you give any advice on our wedding day?

A. Most definitely! I have 20+ years of experience and am happy to help guide you on your special day with all photography-related needs.

Q. Is it ok for friends and family to also take photos while you’re shooting?

A. Yes, as long as they are mindful of what I am trying to do.

Q. Will you be posting our wedding images on your website, Facebook, Instagram, etc.

A. Never without permission.

Receiving Your Photos

Q. How long until I receive my photos? How long after the wedding do we have to wait to get our photos?

A. For weddings it takes about 6-8 weeks. I deliver a preview two days after with approximately 15 photos. The timeline is shorter for non-wedding shoots, and I can provide a better estimate after our consultation.

Q. How many photos should we expect? How Will Our Products Be Delivered?

A. Usually around 1000 photos, in color as well as in black and white. Meghan will deliver all your images and video highlights via online digital download. You will also receive your photos on a USB organized in folders according to the day’s events.

Q. Do you provide the edited files watermark-free? What happens to the photos that we don’t get?

A. I give all the images to you, and the edited files are watermark-free. Colour adjustment and minor retouching are included.

Q. Do you offer wedding albums or prints? Can you recommend a vendor for printing?

A. Some of my packages include prints but not albums. I recommend printing online at Costco.
